THE EVENT

In its sixth city edition and second regional, the Festival della Cultura Tecnica started 2014 with a twofold purpose: to promote technical and scientific education and training, and to enhance expertise and thoughtful action in all possible ways. In fact, the Festival aims to “enhance technical culture beginning with investment into the educational system and connecting it with a revival of Bolognese manufacturing and support the restoration of local industry, a development which values the local economy, social cohesion and culture”.

For the 2019 edition (17 October - 18 December, Bologna), the exhibition offers a distinct focus on Technique and Gender, bringing awareness to and recognizing the gender stereotype that girls are not so inclined towards studying STEM subjects and are less interested in engaging in such studies and technical careers.

Listed below are the events that will be held at the Net Service Digital Hub. However, the initiative will include a full calendar of seminars, demonstrations, workshops, and public events, aimed at students, families, citizens, businesses, and institutions.
