Certifying your event as "sustainable" with ISO 20121
THE WORKSHOP
Events allow organisations to communicate their vision to the world, through its design and organisation it inevitably gives a certain impression to stakeholders.
An event is considered sustainable when it is conceived, planned, and implemented in a way which minimises the negative impact on the environment, leaving a positive legacy to the host community. ISO 20121 standards ensure a robust commitment is made, from those organising an event, to make it sustainable. This is demonstrable and verifiable through certification.
This 3-hour workshop is free and aimed at providing an extensive overview of the specific requirements of ISO 20121:2012 certification - thanks to the input of experts involved in the design and certification of sustainability management systems. The event aims to deepen the practical understanding of these standards through the experiences of managers who planned and created such events, among the first in Italy, certified sustainable according to ISO 20121. At the end of the event, participants will also be offered refreshments.
